Chocolate Avocado Mousse

- 2 ripe avocados
- 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/3 cup maple syrup or agave nectar
- 1/4 cup unsweetened almond milk or other non-dairy milk
- 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
- 1/4 teaspoon sea salt
- Optional toppings: fresh berries, shaved chocolate, coconut flakes
Instructions:

In a food processor or blender, combine the avocados, cocoa powder, maple syrup or agave nectar, almond milk, vanilla extract, and sea salt. Blend until smooth and creamy. Scrape down the sides of the food processor or blender as needed to ensure even mixing. Taste and adjust sweetness or saltiness as desired.

Transfer the chocolate mousse to individual serving dishes or one large serving dish. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour or until chilled and set. The mousse will thicken as it chills.
